Modern Farmhouse

The project brief was for a rustic yet modern farmhouse of Mediterranean and East African influence. Wide arched doors open the north of the house to natural light throughout the day; as well as opening the house to an intimate outdoor courtyard demarcated by the infinity swimming pool, existing sun deck and proposed olive trees. Living spaces are accommodated on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a study on the upper. The home sports a green roof - in an effort to blend the home within it's rural surroundings.
