Dr -Ing. (Aachen), Dipl. -Ing. (Weimar)

A qualified architect registered under Cap 442 of the Laws of Zambia, Mwape holds a Doctorate in Architecture from the Technical University of Aachen, Germany. With over 40 years of practice, Mwape possesses vast management experience, and a wealth of professional knowledge with regards to implementation and supervision of building projects of varying categories and sizes. Aside from his position as Partner at Ndilila Associates Architects, Mwape is a very active member of the local industry, serving on various boards within the construction and commerce industries.

IRENE NDILILA

Dipl. -Ing. (Weimar)

Following the completion of her Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Weimar, Germany; Irene has since gathered over 40 years' professional experience in both Germany and Zambia. As a German national, Irene migrated to Zambia in 1980 and has over 37 years of practice within the local industry. Irene is registered under Cap 442 of the laws of Zambia to practice the architectural profession in Zambia.  As a founding partner of Ndilila Associates, Irene takes the role of Lead Consultant and Project Architect in the design and supervision of projects of varying categories and sizes.

ARCHITECT

MSc. Arch. (Aachen), B. Arch (Kent), Dipl. T. (Perth)

Chobela holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the Technical University of Aachen, Germany; a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kent, UK and a Diploma in Building Design and Technology from TAFE College, Western Australia. Chobela has been with Ndilila Associates for over a year and a half. She has gathered over 7 years professional experience within the local construction industry, previously serving as Country Land Manager at Lafarge Zambia Plc. Chobela has significant experience in project- and asset-management within the construction industry.

ARCHITECT

B. Arch (CBU, Kitwe)

Novet holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Copperbelt University (CBU) in Kitwe, Zambia, which he obtained in 2017. Despite being a relatively fresh graduate, Novet has gained valuable years of practical experience - having worked with various architectural and engineering firms while still a student. Novet is driven by a sincere passion for design; and thrives in the creation and development of architectural and interior design projects. Novet utilises 3D computer software such as ArchiCAD to effectively translate architectural ideas and concepts into expressive, build-able design projects. Novet is currently working towards recognition as a registered architect under Cap 442 of the laws of Zambia.

INTERIOR & PRODUCT DESIGNER

B.A. Interior and Product Design (Florence)

Grace studied Interior and Product Design at the Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy. Grace applies her interior and product design expertise to all her projects through her efficient use of Computer Aided Design Applications such as AutoCAD, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator software. In addition to being an Interior and Product Designer and Architect in Training, Grace is passionate about periodic and classic design in architecture, interior and product design.

ARCHITECT

B.Arch (CBU, Kitwe)

Martin has always had a passion for creativity, innovation and art. In September 2016 he attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from Copperbelt University (CBU) in Kitwe, Zambia. As part of his architectural training, Martin received instruction under the Architects at Ditema Consults, as well as at the Ministry of Works & Supply (GRZ). Martin possesses just shy of two years post-graduate experience - having worked as an Assistant Architect and Team leader in graphics presentation for Touch Finale Incorporated Architects. Martin's architectural principles are underpinned by the pursuit of functional design - with simplicity and close attention to detail as his architectural fundamentals. 

ARCHITECT

B. Arch (CBU, Kitwe)

Mukosa graduated from CBU, Kitwe with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree with Merit. As part of her architectural training, Mukosa received practical instruction under the architects at Ndilila Associates Architects, Ministry of Infrastructure & Housing and Archline Building Consultants. Mukosa has a passion for environmentally sustainable architectural practices and played an active role as a member of the research team launching the Zambia Green Jobs Programme (under ILO).
