Project Description

Ticketing booths, offices and passenger seating halls are accommodated on the ground floor of this four-thousand square meter International Bus Terminus. An escalator (the pair being possibly the first in Livingstone), takes you to the first floor gallery which houses retail spaces and food courts. All this is accommodated underneath a steel roof frame with a clear span of 30m. Three large skylights bring natural light through to the gallery and to the seating hall on the ground floor below. 20m roofed steel framed cantilevers on either side of the terminus provide weather protection for arriving and departing buses and passengers.
